Earth Radio LIVE at RBC

Friday April 13
Earth Radio is a unique collective of musicians that are pushing the boundaries of soul music to a new level. Based in Grand Rapids, MI, the progressive soul quintet has been hard at work recording music, playing live shows, and writing new original material day by day. Hannah Laine (lead vox, piano), Justin Avdek (bass, vox), Dutcher Snedeker (keys), Travis Swanson (guitar), and Hayaman Mana Tzach (drums) have all gained their own respective place as successful musicians in the West Michigan music community and are coming together to blend their unique styles of music to create a musical powerhouse oozing with fat drum beats, funky bass lines, smooth guitar runs, nasty synth sounds, and uniquely soulful vocals that sound like they belong deep in the outer reaches of space time. Sunday April 15
Through the Power of Bicycles, lets come together as a cycling community and lift up the Kim Wood family through a fun, competitive, yet laid back cycling event called Pedal the Peaks of Rockford. Registration: 1:00-1:45 (day of cash donation encouraged) Format: 28 miles, ≈2000’ of climbing, Group Fondo type ride w/ 9 KOM challenges along the way where we will regroup at the bottom of each Hill Challenge and each division will race to the top (very similar to the Dirty Dozen Bike Ride held in Pittsburgh, PA) *Bike choice is up to you, ≈2 miles of gravel on the planned route Hill Challenges: (distance and amount of elevation gain) 1. Bridge Street Sprint .2/90’ 2. Top of the House Street .5/150’ 3. Seven Mile Thirsty Climb .4/130’ 4. Chauncey Dirt Devil (gravel) .8/200’ 5. Mellow Five Mile .5/100’ 6. 3 Mile Wall (gravel) .8/100’ 7. Egypt Valley Killer Climb .9/200’ 8. Blakely Blitz 1.2/100’ 9. We then casually ride together to the next Hill Challenge on the course. At the end of the event, your results from the 9 Hill Challenges are totaled up and the lowest accumulated point total takes home 1st place.
