Yoga at the Dam

Saturday August 5
We were rained out the last time Gina McFadden was supposed to teach, so we are trying this again. Gina was a professional ballet dancer for 7 years and has taught all forms of dance for the past 18 years. She began her yoga practice 14 years ago which has complimented the physical and mental rigors of professional ballet. Gina is now excited to combine 2 of her passions - yoga and God's Word into a class at Rockford School of dance and Grand Rapids Community. Our charity this week is Team Orphans. Team Orphans helps fund special needs adoptions. My friend, Rebecca, developed the Clara Protein Cookie to help her with training to raise money for Team Orphans. She has been selling the cookies for a year (SheActive was her first store), with 100% of the profits going to Team Orphans. Rebecca will be at yoga giving away samples, and I have to tell you, they are yummy.
